Yes, It's Snow White's Hip Hop, Do Wop, Be Bop Funky Little Rockin' Tale!

       This summer I did a summer play. It was my 3rd time with this theater. This summer we were doing "The Rockin' Tale of Snow White". I got the part of Young Snow White. I was really surprised because the theater went up to 8th grade and I was only in 5th. I was also a Villager.  The play was about two modern kids who wanted to hear the story of Snow White so their mother read it to them. She would start reading and then the play would start. For example, this is my scene:

    Mom: "By the time Snow White was 7 years old she was already a beautiful as light and day..."
    Young Snow White: " Come my little friends. It is such a lovely day to play outdoors. What shall we play today?" (animals mime hide and seek) "Hide and seek? What fun! You go hide now and I'll count to 10." (animals start running away) "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! Ready or not, here I come!" ( Run off stage).

The Evil Queen was trying to kill Snow White. The plot was pretty much the same except that it was a musical so there was lots of singing. There were dwarves, but their names were Zip, Kip, Tip, Pip, Flip ,Chip, and Big Mike. Big Mike was actually one of the shortest of them all!
    After the play ended Ben kept going around the house singing " Here I am to protect yor land, I'm your Natural Resource Man"  That was from the play. He did the motions along with it, too!
  
  They also do a winter play. That one only goes up to 6th grade and since I am going into 6th grade I'm hoping I'll get a really good part! Allyson said that she wants to do the play because she'll be in 2nd grade and that is when you can start doing it. I think she'l love it!!!!
